For Dad
Now when your ruin rises right before my disbelief To where the boy within me never thought that it would reach, With lowered eyes and expectation laid beneath to rest, May Christ the Suffering Servant be your only peace in death. And when it comes to pass that I, too, with fallen frame Lie still within the ground and reach the end of all my pain, With hopeful eyes we will look back upon the path made straight, May Christ the Buried Son of God give patience as we wait. And when all flesh has bowed the knee and dust our bones become, When nearby in the graven ground are laid my chosen sons, With lifted eyes we will behold Him coming on the sky, May Christ the Risen be our resurrection as we rise.

The nations rage and Fauci plots–in vein
The needles plunge on hypodermic route– To rout our citizens–make us the dust From which we came–he plots to kill our doubt In “scientific” claims: He digs our plots And sells injecticide to wipe us out. The pulse I have gathered in the jab aftermath:
They turned all your vessels into vessels of wrath Prepared for destruction by gathered formation Of blood in a pulsating coagulation That will not deliver the oxygen needed To cells for a process your masking impeded And boosted your chance that your life would be shot By a booster that boosted your chance of a clot. I cannot bow the knee
To some authority Who tries to take from me The Spirit's liberty; My duty: to resist If Caesar should insist That he is Lord: a heist To steal the throne from Christ. Rigney writes, Screwtape knows that such envy is as old as the fall of man. What's new in the modern world is that an odious vice is now treated as a laudable virtue. Under the guise of "equality" and "democracy," envy is celebrated as respectable and praiseworthy. Screwtape commends the results of this demonic propaganda--it accomplishes the same ends as tyranny and dictatorship, but far more effectively. In a dictatorship, the tyrant must always be on the lookout for upstarts, for men and women under his rule who seek to rise up above their peers and thus challenge his rule. A clever tyrant will cut down any stalk of corn that stands out above the rest of the field. But when equality has been enshrined as an ideal, the tyrant need not cut down anyone; the little stalks will do it themselves. Under the influence of the egalitarian spirit, there is a movement toward the discrediting and eventual "elimination of every kind of human excellence--moral, cultural, social, or intellectual." They gave us the crisis
And all of their vices In labs undercover, They cover up more. They said they'd correct it: “Yes, only inject it, And then have another, Another, or more.” And this was the answer That gave us the cancer The scan will uncover, Uncover some more. Today we are dying And still they are lying The lies that they cover, They cover with more. Their cosmic power plays must prove his sovereign plan: the crown
Of thorns not forced but taken up; his life, he laid it down Upon the cross they raised him on, prefiguring his rise To power over death with all their power in demise; And all the while they thought that they had killed the Son of Man And won, not knowing how they played into his sovereign hand. He shoots us up with weapons of mass-media destruction,
And gives the shotcall as the druglord promising protection; He deals in drugs more deadly than mass-media production, And fires the shot-heard-round-the-world: injectable corruption. He caused the crisis and produced the only “proven” cure; It’s just his way of knowing that his job will be secure. |
