Benjamin L. Merkle on the Aorist Greek Tense-form

Contrary to what I was taught, Merkle correctly states:

The idea, then, is not that the aorist tense-form is pinpointing a particular time in history but that is is portraying the action in its entirety without regard to the process or time it took to accomplish this action.
